Your Windows computer, from iPhone or iPad
View and control Windows from the Deskbat iPhone and iPad TestFlight beta. Learn the requirements, connection steps and current availability.
TestFlight beta: access is by invitation. Deskbat is not yet a public App Store release. Request beta access.
Use the mobile viewer to reach a Windows computer in your workspace or help someone by ID. The Windows host must have Deskbat installed and running; the iPhone or iPad and the computer both need internet access.
Getting connected
- Install the invited build through TestFlight.
- Sign in to Deskbat and select a workspace computer, or enter its full ID.
- Ask the person there to approve, or enter its unattended-access password.
- Use the session’s side menu for keyboard, special keys and other controls.
Working with a smaller screen
Zoom in when you need to read fine details. Choose a quality setting appropriate for your connection and use the view controls to navigate a larger desktop. If the pointer moves but clicks or typing do not work, confirm that the session allows control rather than view-only access.
Connecting while Windows is locked
The PC must remain awake and online with unattended access ready. You still need to complete Windows sign-in after connecting. This beta is not a way to wake a shut-down computer or bypass Windows credentials.
