Using these terms
These terms apply when you create a Deskbat account, install a Deskbat app, or use My Deskbat. By doing any of these you agree to them. If you use Deskbat for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.
Connect only with permission
Deskbat is built so that the person at a computer stays in control. You may connect only to computers you own, or to computers whose owner or authorized user has allowed you to access them. You must not:
- access a computer without permission, or trick someone into approving a connection — for example by pretending to be a bank, a government office, a technology company or Deskbat;
- monitor or record a person, or collect their information, without their knowledge and any consent the law requires;
- work around approval prompts, permissions, unattended-access passwords or other security features;
- use Deskbat to spread malware, commit fraud or break the law;
- attack, probe or overload our systems or the connection relay, or interfere with other people's use of Deskbat.

Your account
Keep your password, authenticator and recovery codes to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. Organization owners and administrators decide who belongs to their workspace, what each person may do, and which computers allow unattended access. If you think someone else has access to your account, sign out other sessions in My Deskbat and tell us at [email protected].
Recordings
If you record a session, the recording is saved on the computer that made it, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for telling the people involved and for getting any consent the law requires.
Your data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Connection and administrative records are kept so that owners and administrators can review who accessed what.
Changes to Deskbat
We keep improving Deskbat and may add, change or remove features and update the apps. We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. If we introduce fees, we will tell you before they apply to you.
Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using Deskbat at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and we may report suspected crimes to the authorities.
Disclaimer
Deskbat is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Deskbat LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of Deskbat. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. We will tell account holders about material changes before they take effect. If you keep using Deskbat after that, the updated terms apply.
