Improve picture quality and responsiveness

Troubleshoot blurred remote text, slow pointer movement and delayed typing with Deskbat quality settings and connection checks.

Identify what is slow

  • Blurry text: check image quality, zoom and available bandwidth.
  • Delayed pointer or keys: check connection stability, session permissions and both app versions.
  • A frozen picture: check whether the session disconnected or the host stopped sharing.

Try these checks in order

  1. Check that both apps are current. Open Settings → About Deskbat on Windows and TestFlight on iPhone or iPad.
  2. Use a reliable connection on both sides. Compare Wi-Fi with mobile data if one connection performs poorly.
  3. Choose a higher video quality for sharper text when bandwidth permits. A lower quality can reduce bandwidth use on a constrained connection.
  4. Zoom to read small text instead of trying to read an entire large monitor fitted onto a phone.
  5. Compare the result with the same screen and task. If quality settings make no difference, include that fact in your report.

Send useful evidence

Note both versions, network type, quality selection and time. Explain whether the issue affects the picture, pointer, keyboard or all three. Share a diagnostic reference through support. Crop sensitive content out of any screenshot you choose to provide.
