HELP & CONTACT

Let’s get you connected.

Start with a quick guide, or tell our support team what happened.

How can we help?

Find detailed steps in the Deskbat help centre, or use the quick answers below.

Set up your first computer
  1. Create your account and verify your email.
  2. Download Deskbat for Windows on the computer you want to access.
  3. Open the app and sign in with the same account. Your computer appears in your workspace.
  4. Connect from another supported device. The person at the computer can approve the request, or you can use its unattended-access password if configured.

iPhone and iPad access is currently available through TestFlight. Mac is coming soon.

Verify your email or reset your password

Check your spam folder if the verification email hasn’t arrived. On the sign-in page, choose Resend verification email. For an account password reset, use Forgot password?

Your account password and a computer’s unattended-access password are different. Ask the computer’s owner about its unattended-access password.

Open sign in →
A computer is offline or won’t connect

Check that both devices have internet access and Deskbat is running on the remote computer. If sharing is paused, resume it on that computer. Check for updates on both devices and retry.

If the problem continues, note the exact error, the time it happened and your time zone. Include the remote Deskbat ID and any diagnostic reference in your support email.

Connect while Windows is locked

The computer must be powered on, awake and online. A locked screen or a powered-off display is different from a sleeping or shut-down computer.

Use the installed Windows app with unattended access configured by the computer’s owner. A manual approval request needs someone at the computer. If access is refused, check whether sharing is paused and record the exact message.

After connecting, Windows still requires its normal sign-in. Never send Windows credentials to support.

Improve blurry text or a slow connection

Check the connection on both devices. Choose a higher quality setting for sharper text when bandwidth allows, or a lower setting to reduce bandwidth use. Use a wired connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal where possible.

If changing quality makes no difference, include both app versions and whether it happens on Wi-Fi, mobile data or both. Tell us whether the problem affects the picture, pointer, keyboard or all three.

Update Deskbat and find diagnostic details

On Windows, open Settings → About Deskbat to see your version and check for updates. On iPhone or iPad, check the Deskbat build in TestFlight.

Use Settings → Diagnostics where available to find connection details. Copy any reference shown, along with the time of the failed attempt. Share only the details relevant to the problem.
